Ashley Miller
Ashley Miller is a senior double-majoring in Film Studies and Communication Studies. Through campus involvement such as Flicker Film Society and Dance on Film, Ashley has gained valuable experience in editing and video production. She is excited to channel these skills into this semester's Pier601 projects. She also hopes to expand her professional communication skills and dip her toes further into the marketing world.
Avery McCormick
Avery McCormick is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a focus in Integrated Marketing Communication and minoring in Business. She is passionate about building genuine connections, branding, and advertising, and is excited to work directly with clients and gain hands-on experience with the Pier601 Team. In her free time, Avery enjoys prioritizing wellness, traveling, and being among community.
Berkeley Sumner
Berkeley Sumner is a senior, majoring in Communication Studies with a focus in Integrated Marketing Communication. This is her third semester in Pier601 and she is looking forward to growing her leadership skills. Berkeley is excited to use her experience in social media, marketing, and consulting internships to help shape her work and her communication with clients. Outside of school, Berkeley enjoys spending time at the beach, hosting her friends, and playing trivia games.
Bryce Kelley
Bryce Kelley is a senior double - majoring in Spanish and Communication Studies with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communication. She is excited to gain real-world, professional experience by working creatively with local clients alongside her teammates. In her free time, Bryce is passionate about being a member and president of the UNCW Women's Lacrosse team, playing guitar, traveling, and spending time outside with her friends!
Emma Landgraf
Emma Landgraf is a senior pursuing a degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communication and a minor in Business. Drawing on her background in marketing management, she is eager to collaborate with her team and deliver strategic results for local clients. Outside of her studies, Emma stays active, loves spending quality time with friends, and enjoys catching beach sunsets.
Graci Nelson
Graci Nelson is a Senior majoring in Communication Studies with a focus in Integrated Marketing Communication. She is excited to exceed her comfort zone and work one-on-one with clients to expand her knowledge in IMC. Outside of class, Graci loves any physical activity with friends, new adventures and serving with her church family!
Hannah Goss
Hannah Goss is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a focus in Integrated Marketing Communication, minor in journalism, and a certificate in professional writing. She is excited to learn more about working directly with clients and collaborating with her peers while applying her IMC knowledge to support the growth of small businesses. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, staying active, and reading, with a particular interest in realistic fiction and history.
Hunter Bullard
Hunter Bullard is a senior in the communication studies department. He will get a minor in leadership studies and a certificate in IMC. He is excited to get to use his communication skills he has learned throughout his collage years. He enjoys hunting, fishing and training his dog, Banks. He also has a passion for Land management.
Jacob Travis
Jacob Travis is a Senior Majoring in Communication Studies with a Certificate in Integrated Marketing Communication. He is excited to be working on the pier to pier podcast and can't wait to see what awaits him this semester at Pier601. In his free time he likes to play videogames, golf, and surf.
Laney Bullard
Laney Bullard is a senior within the Communication Studies program. She is also completing a minor in Leadership Studies alongside a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communication. She’s eager to obtain applicable experience with clients and collaborate with her peers. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with friends and family.
Maddy Winick
Maddy Winick is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communication. She is excited to meet with local clients and help them build their brand. She loves traveling, thrifting, getting coffee, shelling, trying new foods, and meeting new people!
Mary Lamporte
Mary Lamporte is a senior at UNCW, majoring in Communication Studies with a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communication. While in Pier 601, she is looking forward to helping local businesses and practicing her marketing skills in a real-world setting. Vanessa Suarez
Vanessa Suarez is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communication and a minor in Yoga Studies. She is most excited to develop her skills in brand marketing and to gain valuable experience through working directly with clients. Vanessa loves slow mornings, wellness and nature. She is grateful for the opportunity to be pushed professionally and personally from her peers, instructors and businesses.
Avery Manfreda
Avery Manfreda is a senior majoring in communication studies with a certificate in integrated marketing communication. She minors in both history and leadership studies. Avery values opportunities to build genuine connections and apply what she has learned in a professional setting. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and, of course, going to the beach.
Bella Price
Bella Price is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a focus in Integrated Marketing Communication and minoring in Digital Art. She is passionate about photography, creative direction, branding, and advertising and is excited to gain hands-on experience with Pier601’s Creative Team. Bella especially enjoys developing visual concepts and finding creative ways to bring brands and ideas to life. In her free time, she enjoys photography, traveling, music festivals, yoga classes, and hanging out with friends.
Breeshauna Butler
Breeshauna Butler is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a double minor in Leadership and Rec/Tourism/Sport. She is experienced in graphic design and target audience research. She enjoys spending time with friends and engaging in a wide variety of media such as movies, tv shows, podcasts, and music.
Elise Meister
Elise Meister is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communication and a minor in Leadership Studies. She is excited to work with her peers to complete the overarching goal of supporting and further developing clients. In her free time, Elise can be found at the beach surfing, running, swimming, or walking. She is an active individual, but thoroughly enjoys spending time with her loved ones.
Eva Anderson
Eva Anderson is a senior pursuing a degree in Marketing Strategy with a minor in Yoga Studies. When she is not practicing yoga, walking the loop or at the beach, she loves to be creative. She is most excited for the opportunity to use her creativity in a professional environment and help alongside the social media team to strengthen and develop her content creation skills.

This is her second semester working with Pier601 Creative and she is excited to work with clients to help develop content and marketing strategies to support their local business. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with friends.

Harrison Cardinale is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communication. He looks forward to collaborating with peers and local businesses. He is passionate about building designs, creating media, and interpersonal communication. His favorite activities are snowboarding, playing ping pong, and trying new dining locations.
Izzie Barrett
Izzie Barrett is a senior double-majoring in Film Studies and Communication Studies. Through involvement with Pier601 Creative, Flicker Film Society, and independent projects, she has honed her skills in videography and content creation. During her second semester with Pier601, she wishes to further develop her skills in professional communication and documentary-style filmmaking. In her free time, Izzie likes to produce short films, drink coffee, and watch movies.
Julia Gámez
Julia Gámez is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communication. She is excited for another year with Pier601 and looks forward to working with new creative minds and local businesses. She loves bringing people’s ideas and passions to life through branding and creative work, and finds joy in building connections along the way. In her free time, Julia enjoys photography, spending time with animals, and making memories with the people she loves and cares about.
Leah Melton
Leah Melton is a senior majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in Business. She is excited to work in Pier601 Creative to gain expierence in working in a field she's never worked in before! In her freetime, Leah enjoys hanging out downtown and being at the beach with her friends.
Mae Bradley
Mae Bradley is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Small Business and Entrepreneurship and a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communications. This is her second semester as a Pier601 team member, and she is excited to serve as a Vice President this semester. Mae is passionate about health, wellness, and the fitness industry and hopes to pursue a career helping wellness and physical activity businesses strengthen their marketing and overall brand presence. In her free time, she enjoys staying active and moving her body, spending as much time laughing and dancing with her friends as possible, and loving on her foster cats!
Riley Snyder
Riley Snyder is a senior double-majoring in Film Studies and Communication Studies, and minoring in Spanish. Riley has a professional background in both film and marketing, specializing in video production, creative marketing, and camera work. She is excited to channel these skills into this semester's Pier601 projects. She also hopes to gain more experience working with clients and for a creative agency.
Sydney Yoch
Sydney Yoch is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communication and a minor in Entrepreneurship. She is excited to continue building her teamwork skills and to collaborate with others to create meaningful work. Outside of the classroom, Sydney loves going for walks, cooking, spending long days at the beach, and spending time with her closest friends.
