Bella Clotzman
Bella Clotzman is a junior majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communication and a minor in Medical Humanities. She is excited to collaborate with her peers to support local Wilmington businesses with their public relations needs. In her free time, Bella enjoys reading, going to the beach, and walking her dog.
Bridget McBride
Bridget McBride is a senior double majoring in Creative Writing with a focus in Publishing and Communication Studies. She’s excited about storytelling and collaborative creative work at Pier601, especially where strategy and narrative overlap. In her free time, she enjoys writing poetry and fiction, designing creative projects, and finding new ways to tell stories across mediums.
Bryce Norvell
Bryce Norvell is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Business and Leadership Studies. He is excited to get some hands-on experience with real clients and build on his skills. In his free time he enjoys hanging out with friends and spending time outdoors.
Carlee Harrell
Carlee Harrell is a senior majoring in Communication Studies. She has a strong passion for marketing and graphic design, and she hopes to continue working on those skills in her final semester. During her second semester with Pier601, Carlee is excited to work with and learn from a new client. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, taking her dog for walks, and spending time with her friends and family!
Caroline Ramsey
Caroline Ramsey is a senior Communication Studies student minoring in Journalism, specializing in Integrated Marketing Communication and Media Production. Driven by a passion for digital strategy and community engagement, she currently holds a managerial position for an on-campus sports club team’s social media, where she hones her leadership and organizational skills. She is thrilled to apply and grow her skill set to build meaningful connections with local clients and peers through Pier601. In her free time, she enjoys reading, walking the beach, and spending time with her friends, family, and her golden retriever.
Grace Wilson
Grace Wilson is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communication. She is continuing her involvement with Pier601 Creative for a second semester, where she looks forward to collaborating with fellow students to bring ideas to life and support the Wilmington community. Grace especially enjoys content creation and client relations and is excited to further develop these skills this semester. Outside of academics, she enjoys going on walks, trying new recipes, and spending time with friends.
Holden Soernssen
Holden Soernssen is a Senior majoring in Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing Strategy and a Minor in Communications. He is thrilled to be working with talented communications students that he hasn’t had the chance to during his time at UNCW, and excited to get to learn from them as he collaborates on various assignments. He currently works as a Marketing Intern on campus for Aramark through Campus Dining. He is involved in the Cameron Executive Network and is a Peer Advisor for the CSB Marketing Department. In his free time he loves to explore the parts of Wilmington he hasn’t been to with friends, and find as many pieces of Ford Merch as he can to stock his closet up before he begins his Post Grad Job with them in Los Angeles.
Izzie Barrett
Izzie Barrett is a junior double-majoring in Film Studies and Communication Studies. She is interested in many different aspects of media production. With Pier601, she is looking to hone her technical skillset with sound, lighting, and camera equipment. She is passionate about supporting and empowering women in creative fields. In her free time, she makes short films and other mixed media art.
Julia Gámez
JJulia Gámez is a junior majoring in Communication Studies with a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communication. She is excited to work with Pier601 and looks forward to collaborating with creative minds and local businesses. She loves bringing people’s ideas and passions to life through branding and creative work, and finds joy in building connections along the way. In her free time, Julia enjoys photography, spending time with animals, and making memories with the people she loves and cares about.

Loghan Lennox
Loghan Lennox is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Studio Art, concentrating on Integrated Marketing Communication and Media Production. She is passionate about collaborating with peers and mentors to strengthen Wilmington businesses’ marketing strategies and community outreach. This semester, she is especially excited to blend her love for art and design into her creative work. In her free time, Loghan enjoys photography, long walks on the beach, and crafting with friends.
Madi Munn
Madi Munn is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Journalism. She is focusing on Integrated Marketing Communication and Media Production. She is excited to grow her skills in branding and content creation while collaborating with peers through Pier601. Madi enjoys painting and traveling in her free time, while also running her small photography business!
Mason Bouchard
Mason Bouchard is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communication. He is excited to learn more about marketing and to experience real-world scenarios to better hone his skills and improve on his weaknesses. Mason enjoys automotive photography and mechanics. He works part-time doing media for several businesses and works at a mechanic shop specializing in classic cars. Mason has a classic mustang that he loves to work on, do photoshoots for, and, most importantly, drive with his buddies. He is always down for an adventure.
Raja Backhaus
Raja Backhaus is a junior majoring in Media Management with a focus on PR-managen and journalism. She is an international student from Germany and exited to be part of Pier601 creative. Raja is especially interesting in managing social media and marketing, hoping to get practical experience working with clients this semester. In her free time she‘s exploring all the local coffee shops and takes every opportunity to go to the beach.
Sadie Cameron
Sadie Cameron is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a focus in Integrated Marketing and minoring in Leadership Skills. This is her third semester working at Pier601, and she is excited to collaborate with new clients and bring their visions to life. Sadie has a passion for content creation, social media management, event planning, and website design. She also has experience in studio production, including working with cameras and behind-the-scenes operations. In her free time, Sadie enjoys going to Pilates classes, sitting on the beach, and traveling.
Savannah Whiteman
Savannah Whiteman is a senior majoring in Communication studies with a focus in Integrated Marketing Communication. She is excited and committed to collaborating with her peers to work on improving local Wilmington businesses'. She is particularly interested in social media, planning, and digital content creation. She currently holds two social media positions: one for a non-profit for veterans "Mission Roll Call", and one for her families jiu jitsu gym "The Factory Jiu Jitsu". In her free time she enjoys family time, training jiu jitsu, and editing videos, posts, and flyers for her social media positions.
Sydney Yoch
Sydney Yoch is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC), as well as a minor in Entrepreneurship. She is very excited to practice her IMC skills and help small, local Wilmington businesses with their marketing and communication efforts during her time at Pier601. In her free time, Sydney enjoys going to the beach and cooking fun dinner recipes.
Berkeley Sumner
Berkeley Sumner is a senior majoring in Communication studies with a concentration in IMC (integrated marketing communications). It is her second semester in Pier601. In her time away from academics she works downtown, spends time with friends and family, is a member of Alpha Xi Delta, and goes on scenic walks. She is looking forward to gaining knowledge of client communication and working in an agency!
Brooke Stephens
Brooke Stephens is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communication. She is excited to work with Pier601 Creative to help local Wilmington businesses strengthen their brands while gaining experience in client-based work. Brooke especially enjoys digital design and content creation and looks forward to applying her creative skills in real-world marketing projects. In her free time, she loves getting coffee with friends, spending time with her cat, staying active, and exploring new creative outlets.
Burke Clodfelter
Burke Clodfelter is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Journalism and Digital Art, and is also pursuing an Integrated Marketing Communication certificate. He is excited to get to know the Pier601 team and learn more about working with clients. In his free time, Burke enjoys watching movies, playing basketball, and spending time with his dog.
Carlie Gleeson
Carlie Gleeson is a junior majoring in Communication Studies and is working on completing a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communications. She is passionate about creating purposeful, visually compelling marketing that combines strategic thinking with thoughtful design. Carlie currently holds an assistant role at a full-service digital marketing agency, where she supports integrated marketing campaigns and continues to build hands-on experience across diverse industries. She is eager to further develop her marketing skill set while contributing creative, strategy-driven solutions to client work. Outside of the classroom and agency life, Carlie enjoys personal content creation, running, and spending time at the beach.
Emma Landgraf
Emma Landgraf is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a focus in Integrated Marketing Communication and a minor in Business. She is passionate about connecting with her peers as well as working with clients in the local area. In her free time she enjoys staying active, spending time with friends and watching sunsets at the beach.
Hannah Gilfedder
Hannah Gilfedder is a junior majoring in Communication Studies with a focus in Integrated Marketing Communication and a minor in Creative Writing. She is excited to explore real-world experience with clients and to provide skills that will benefit local businesses and companies. In her free time, she enjoys reading and writing stories, going on walks, baking, and spending time with family and friends.

Julianna Broadway
Julianna Broadway is a senior Communication Studies major pursuing a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communication. This is her second semester with Pier601, and she is excited to continue building on her experience while working with new people and new clients. Julianna has a strong interest in all things digital design and content creation, with experience in graphic design, social media management, Adobe Creative Suite, and media production through her coursework and marketing roles. In her free time, Julianna loves trying new coffee shops, watching movies, spending time with friends, and traveling.
Katie Rhyne
Katie Rhyne is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a focus on Integrated Marketing Communication. She is passionate about design and ready to utilize her digital design skills this semester. She is excited to gain experience with real clients and help small businesses in the Wilmington area. In her free time, Katie enjoys hiking, watching sunrises at the beach, and playing guitar!
Liliana D’Alessandro
Liliana D’Alessandro is a junior majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communication. She is excited to use her skillset and work with her peers to help local businesses around Wilmington. She looks forward to advancing her skills further and having hands-on experience. In her free time she enjoys spending her time outdoors and with friends.
Mae Bradley
Mae Bradley is a junior majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Small Business and Entrepreneurship and a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communications. Mae is passionate about health, wellness, and the fitness industry and hopes to pursue a career helping wellness and physical activity businesses strengthen their marketing and overall brand presence. In her free time, she enjoys staying active and moving her body, spending as much time laughing and dancing with her friends as possible, and loving on her foster cats!

Roan Dunn
Roan Dunn is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a focus in Integrated Marketing Communication. He is incredibly excited to take the skills he has learned throughout his time in Integrated Marketing classes and apply them this semester to help grow a client in the Wilmington community. In his free time Roan enjoys going to the beach, travelling, spending time with friends, and listening to as well as producing his own house music.
Sammy Meszler
Sammy Meszler is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Creative Writing. She is extremely passionate about brand strategy, research, and all things marketing. In her free time, she loves playing the piano, reading, writing, and spending time with her friends and family. She is thrilled to be a part of Pier601 Creative this semester and looks forward to applying her strong technical and creative skills in this amazing applied learning environment. She is so excited about this opportunity and cannot wait to start working with the clients and her peers!
Sidney Miller
Sidney Miller is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Leadership Studies and a focus in Integrated Marketing Communications. She has experience in social media marketing, brand collaboration, and merchandising as the Vice President of Marketing for her sorority at UNCW. With Pier601, Sidney is excited to grow her skills in creative marketing and gain hands-on experience working with local businesses. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and fun new workout classes and coffee shops.
